Who is MSA NL

Moslimstudenten Associatie Nederland is an umbrella organisation linking Islamic-inspired student associations throughout the Netherlands. MSA NL aims to strengthen the Muslim student community religiously, academically and professionally. It does this by supporting all member associations in their development, forming unity among Muslim students (associations) and representing the interests of Dutch Muslim students.

The organisation of MSA NL consists of two parts: 1) the board and 2) the teams.

The Board
The board is a seven-member body responsible for developing strategic policy, formulating objectives and defining the frameworks within which the organisation operates. All board members work in the interests of all member student associations and the Dutch Muslim student. The position of board member requires a time commitment of a minimum of 8 hours a week. It is not recommended to combine this position with another board or committee position.

The teams

Within the board, there are four managers who have teams under them. Team members are responsible for the operation within the frameworks mutually determined by the board. The team member position requires a minimum time commitment of of 4 hours a week. It is not recommended to combine this position with another board or committee position.

Application procedure

Onze sollicitatieprocedure voor het bestuur bestaat uit een online vragenlijst. In de online vragenlijst kan je informatie kwijt over je achtergrond, ervaringen en motivatie. Bovendien wordt er gevraagd om een referent te noemen. De sollicitatiecommissie zal daarna contact met je opnemen om een sollicitatiegesprek met je in te plannen. Indien je door de eerste selectieronde heen bent, zal je deelnemen aan de selectiedag. Op deze dag pitch jij jouw motivatie voor alle afgevaardigden van de aangesloten studentenverenigingen en krijgen afgevaardigden de ruimte om jou vragen te stellen. Voor een teamlid functie heb je na het invullen van de online vragenlijst een sollicitatiegesprek met twee bestuursleden.
